How do I login to Panther180?

Getting to Panther180 is simple.  You can access Panther180 by clicking this link: Panther180

Who can see my information?

Your department Chair, College Dean and select unit administrators have access to view your profile, activities and curriculum vitas. External Personnel do not have access to Panther180 unless requested and approved. 

Who can I contact for support or questions regarding Panther180?

You have a couple options:

When I try to login to Panther180, I receive an error that I do not have access. What should I do?

Exit out of your web browser completely and try to login again. Your access has not been removed, just try again. Make sure you are using an updated browser. All browsers work but Google Chrome seems to work best. If this still occurs after a few tries, please contact our support line.

I was told to clear my cookies/cache. How do I do this?

I saved my evaluation but I can't submit, what am I doing wrong?

Make sure that your evaluation is saved, click on the check box to the left of your name and try it again. If you are still having trouble, email Panther180 at panther180@fiu.edu for further assistance.

How do I upload syllabi?

From the activities section, click on the section titled courses taught, then on view teaching. Enter the correct start and end date, select refresh. From here scroll down to the section titled course attachments and find the course that you would like to upload to, and select the add button. A pop window will appear allowing you to select the document to attach from your computer.

I cannot see my annual assignment. I talked to my chairperson and she told me to contact you for help.

Current and previous can be found under the “Evaluations” link. From here select “View All” to select the evaluation desired.

Once the desired evaluation has been selected, at the far right hand you will see an “eye” icon which will grant you access to view the details.

If for some reason the “eye” icon is not accessible, either nothing was submitted by the previous reviewer, or there is a setting that needs to be corrected. You may contact panther180@fiu.edu to help you get access.

Why are my grants not all showing even though they were processed by ORED?

The Office of Research and Economic Development (ORED) sponsored research award information is integrated into Panther180 Research/Grants section monthly upon closeout of the previous month’s activity. For more information about the data provided, please refer to the ‘Research/Grants Data User Reference Guide’. For additional assistance, please e-mail panther180@fiu.edu and we will coordinate accordingly with ORED.

In this section you are able to look for colleagues with similar interests. Currently sections being used are:

Adding your CV
Within the Profile section, at the bottom, there is a CV section that allows you to add a CV. This CV will not populate into your activity section. However, your chair and/or supervisor will be able to look at your full CV at any given time.
Ouicklinks
A Quicklink is a bookmark that will automatically take you to a page in Faculty180. The Quicklinks functionality can be used and managed by individual users. There is no limit to the amount of Quicklinks you can add.
Grant Info
Data is extracted from the Office of Research & Economic Development (ORED) and loaded into Panther180. Those records provided by ORED will have a source of ‘ORED’ in the activity classification section. Awards not processed with ORED will need to be entered manually. If the Award data from ORED appears incorrect, please email Panther180@fiu.edu.
Courses Taught
Course schedule for FIU is extracted from Office of Class Management and loaded into Panther180. Each FIU course is linked to the instructor(s) of record. The courses taught section is locked and cannot be edited and if the course information appears incorrect, please email Panther180@fiu.edu.

** Course(s) taught not on the course schedule will need to be entered manually in the “Teaching Innovation and Evidence of Other Related Teaching Activities” section. **
